The installation of Chiller Plant Manager field devices shall be performed by qualified controls, mechanical, and electrical personnel using approved materials, calibrated instruments, and manufacturer-recommended procedures.
All activities shall comply with approved shop drawings, project specifications, ISO 16484 requirements, ASHRAE BACnet standards, and consultant requirements.
Particular attention shall be given to the correct positioning of sensors, installation of flow and energy meters, actuator mounting, communication integrity, cable management, labeling, and earthing to ensure reliable acquisition of field data and effective optimization of the chilled water plant during subsequent testing, commissioning, and operational phases.
