The Smoke Management System shall be installed, tested, balanced, commissioned, and handed over by qualified mechanical, electrical, fire protection, and commissioning specialists in accordance with NFPA 92, BS EN 12101, ASHRAE requirements, approved shop drawings, project specifications, Civil Defense requirements, and manufacturer recommendations.
Successful completion of airflow verification, pressurization testing, smoke extraction testing, fire alarm integration, cause and effect validation, emergency power testing, and user acceptance testing will ensure that the system performs reliably during emergency situations and provides safe smoke control and occupant protection.
