The installation, testing, and commissioning of the smoke management system shall be carried out by qualified HVAC, electrical, fire alarm, controls, and commissioning personnel using approved materials, calibrated instruments, and manufacturer-recommended procedures.
All activities shall comply with approved shop drawings, project specifications, NFPA 92, BS EN 12101 requirements, fire engineering reports, authority regulations, and consultant instructions.
Particular attention shall be given to life safety interfaces, cause and effect verification, pressurization performance, smoke extraction effectiveness, firefighter override functionality, and integrated testing to ensure the smoke management system performs reliably under emergency conditions and is fully operational prior to final handover.
