The installation of Close Control Units (CCUs) shall be carried out by qualified HVAC, electrical, and controls personnel using approved materials, calibrated instruments, certified lifting equipment, and manufacturer-recommended procedures.
All activities shall comply with approved shop drawings, project specifications, ASHRAE guidelines, and consultant requirements.
Particular attention shall be given to unit positioning, vibration isolation, stress-free piping connections, condensate drainage, electrical safety, control integration, and quality inspections to ensure reliable and precise environmental control for critical facilities prior to testing, commissioning, and handover.
