Professional Testing Procedure for Lightning Protection & Earthing Systems
The testing of the Earthing and Lightning Protection System shall be carried out by qualified testing and commissioning personnel using calibrated instruments and approved procedures. All testing activities shall comply with IEC 62305, IEC 60364, BS EN 62305, IEEE standards, project specifications, and consultant requirements. Successful completion of continuity testing, earth resistance testing, bonding verification, lightning protection verification, and final commissioning shall demonstrate that the system is safe, compliant, operational, and ready for handover to the client.
