This procedure describes the guidelines on the pre-contract planning procedure during tender analysis and schedule preparation.
The purpose of this procedure is to define the process to be followed for the preparation of pre- contract schedules that will:
- provide an estimate of the over-all time and resources required to execute the project including an assessment of any interim hand-over requirements by the client
- provide an estimate for the time related items included in the Preliminary and General Build- up to be priced by the Estimating Manager
- provide a basis for the preparation of the Contract Schedule should the project be awarded to the company
