The purpose of this Method Statement is to establish the procedures, responsibilities, safety requirements, quality control measures, inspection criteria, and installation methodology for exhaust and ventilation fans associated with HVAC and mechanical ventilation systems.
The objective is to ensure that exhaust and ventilation fans are installed safely, correctly, and in accordance with approved shop drawings, project specifications, manufacturer recommendations, and applicable international standards to achieve the required airflow performance, noise control, vibration isolation, maintainability, energy efficiency, and readiness for testing and commissioning prior to project handover.
