Testing and commissioning of MV Power Cables and Accessories shall be performed by qualified commissioning engineers and certified cable specialists using approved procedures and calibrated testing equipment.
Comprehensive inspection, continuity testing, insulation resistance testing, sheath integrity testing, bonding verification, VLF testing, and energization activities shall be completed to demonstrate the safety, reliability, and operational readiness of the MV cable system.
Successful completion of all tests and approvals shall confirm compliance with project specifications, utility requirements, IEC standards, and manufacturer recommendations.
