The purpose of this Method Statement is to define the procedures, responsibilities, quality requirements, safety precautions, inspection activities, and acceptance criteria for the installation of Glass Reinforced Plastic (GRP) pipes and fittings used in water distribution, chilled water, condenser water, fire protection, irrigation, stormwater, sewerage, and industrial process systems.
The objective is to ensure that GRP piping systems are installed safely and in accordance with approved shop drawings, project specifications, manufacturer recommendations, and applicable international standards. Proper execution of the works shall ensure a durable, leak-free, corrosion-resistant piping system capable of achieving the intended design life and operational performance.
